Stan Crane Biography

Having had an interest in photography beyond family snapshots since early high school, Stan started trying to experiment with special effects with a Kodak instamatic received as a Christmas gift in the early 1970’s. Stan continued his passion and love learning and acquiring his own darkroom equipment, 35mm equipment in college to support positions with the college yearbook, local newspapers and eventually graduating with a Professional Photography degree shooting film form 35mm to 8x10 sheet til and of course, many aspects of digital. Was the top pick for a position with a large commercial photo studio in Milwaukee, followed by a position in Denver with a major department store shooting their newspaper and catalogue ads. Then after ten years as a commercial studio owner in Denver shooting retail and corporate work for hundreds of mom-n-pop to multi-national entities and another ten years away from it, Stan returned to develop his passion in landscape, scenic, nature and wildlife. Stan now lives in Monument, Colorado and brings skills and experience of over 40 years to his craft.
