We bought a bench from the thorton store that ended up damaged. We went to the COS store and Joseph helped out us tremendously! He went out of his way to get us the help we needed. Highly recommend going to AFW for your furniture needs. Did not have the best experience with the girl at customer return desk. I hope she has a better day tomorrow and learns how to talk respectfully to other customers.

We bought a chaise lounge sofa only had it a few months and it’s already falling apart. The back is really flimsy, the seams are already ripping. Very dissatisfied with this purchase.

Ask them to take your furnitrue out of the box to look it over! They have a 3 strikes it’s out policy as to giving you a piece of furniture that’s already damaged! 🤪 Make sure the pieces you are buying and taking from the ramp are in mint condition before taking it home with you! 😉👍 This will save you multiple trips back & forth.

Mid quality furniture for high quality price. Salesmen are aost as bad as car dealers.

Some sales associates at the store really act like you’re bothering them if you ask questions or if you need help. And I said “some” because there are some that are really nice and helpful. But I’ve always come more of the bothered associate than anything. Other than that, the furniture is great. Not the highest quality but exactly what I need, style-wise and durability.

We are usually very satisfied with AFW, however, this time around, not so much. We purchased A BUNCH$$$ of furniture in December. One of the items being a sectional couch. There are just 2 of us at home and we each have our favorite sections. About a month ago, I started sitting on a different reclining section and noticed the foot plate was spongy, lacking foam and looked “used.” We called the warranty dept, sent pictures and had a tech come out. After a thorough examination, he said the foam was kinked and didn’t seem right. The warranty dept called after he left and said their determination -based on pictures- was “wear and tear.” There is NO WAY we “wear” our furniture that hard in 6 months, let alone 30 days. Highly Disappointed AFW!

I would not bother with this place again. They’re way overstaffed on the showroom, but when it comes to loading, they do not have people. It took a massive amount of time to get the one chair that I purchased from the warehouse into my car. They made a huge job of me backing into the loading bay for the lightweight piece of furniture that I can carry with one hand. This was after the piece was ordered, I was told to come in and pick it up, I had to check in inside, then had an extremely long wait in the parking lot. The guy who directs traffic is a complete and total one of those guys. Never hoped to encounter his kind again, but know I will on a daily basis. The guy loading my chair into the minivan.l acted like it was a big job. It took him like two tries, and I just had to do it myself. I am not a super strong woman but again can pick up this chair with one hand. The whole thing was ridiculous.

The staff was really awesome. We were just shopping around.

Didn't make a purchase (will be later in a few months) but looked around for a while. Was mostly left alone. Two salespeople asked us if we needed any help or had any questions , but left us alone after that.

My husband and I had an unfortunate situation, and we immediately got helped by the amazing customer service agent Hilda Santiago! Great place to shop for furniture. Huge selection, no push knowledgeable sales people and very sharp behind the scenes regarding delivery and customer service.

As much as I like the prices it doesn't justify all of the mistakes that were made with my order. First, I ordered a bed frame that was "in stock" but came without the sides. Customer service said 2-3 weeks and they would schedule for the rest to be delivered, when the 3rd week rolled around I called and they said it was already in stock and ready to be delivered? Why I didn't get a call, ill never know. All I do know Is that my brand new matress had to remain on the floor in that time. Second, I was putting together my kid's bedroom set and a the screws used to hold it together were missing, so I called customer service. It all seemed to be settled with customer service saying the part would be delivered in 3 days. After a week I called customer service again and it turns out that they don't carry the piece, it was never sent, and they cant order it for me! Now I have to call the manufacturer and order the 56 screws. I don't understand why they even have customer service if they can't solve customer issues. Update it's been almost 2 months since I've purchases and I have still not got the screws to assemble the dress or set for my kid's room... the customer service is truly astonishingly bad at resolving issues I seriously would love to recommend this store...

Good low cost furniture compared to other venues

My apartment complex just screwed me over due to all kinds of weird stupid stuff which was only made manageable thanks the this company working with me every step of the way. Vic from the sales floor and Alandra from customer service were very considerate and helped me a lot. I plan on coming here for all my furniture needs.

I just picked up today my couch set and for my soprise it came all stained and customer service said that they are not responsable for these types of things.I bought something new for a reason and this is just not worth it.😡

When I picked up my office chair at the dock the back seat post was punched through the box and damaged. The guy tried to pass it off as it was fine. I had to call him back at which time we opened the box to confirm it was damaged. They didn't have anymore in that color and the manager came out to swap out for a different color. He took the receipt to do the swap and whoever he dealt with just did a return and put my money back on my card so I had to go back in and go through the whole paying process again and wait on it to be pulled from stock. I should have just ordered the chair from Amazon...

I usually have had a good experience here, but not the last time. I purchased a dining set, was told yes only the bench would be back ordered, but the table, and chairs would be here by the next few days. Only the table was delivered. When I asked where the chairs were they said they would not be in for 2-3 weeks. I had Easter dinner for my family planned and the chairs with my old table were already in my garage. I just got the notice my chairs would be delivered. I chose a Tuesday and then found out I had to change it due to a another appt. I called them Monday. Then I was told to change it would cost a 45.00 change fee since those chairs were already on the truck coming down from Denver. Not the service you used to get at this store, which is in Colorado Springs.

This is the best kitchen table and soft chairs. Janica did a fantastic job selling it to us please give her a raise & American Furniture Warehouse team did an Incredible job delivering it and putting it together in less than 30 minutes. It was a great experience, we bought a bed and a frame. The mattress was too stiff and they let us exchange the mattress no questions asked, My experience with Gabe was excellent!

I recently purchased a nice leather sofa, love seat and side tables! I also purchased a dresser. If you want quality leather furniture, this is the right place! They offer excellent prices and delivered my furniture on time!

After 3 hours and a half in this store we found what we wanted and they made it so easy and simple to purchase and get delivered seriously it was the best purchase.

Horrible quality. Looks good on the show room floor, but when it's delivered, the product is garbage - just give it a few weeks! The delivery guys were nice, but tracked in mud during the install (maybe consider wearing booties, or laying additional carpet down, so this doesn't happen). We had a couch that had USB chargers (USB & USB-C), but after a week, didn't work. They agreed to replace the sections of the couch that with a completely new section, but the replacement didn't have a USB-C chargers, so they agreed to dump off another couch sections with USB-C ports. Within one month we've already had two new couch's, however, the cushion wedge piece (only piece that wasn't replaced) is clearly deflated relative to the new pieces that were replaced. Also one can clearly see the new vs. old creases in the cloth. It's junk!!! They agreed to now refund the entire amount, except the delivery fee of $95. One would think that after all the back-and-forth, and having to wait around for the delivery drivers to pickup and deliver new pieces (having to take PTO to do this) they would just refund the $95 delivery fee, but they didn't. I will say that the customer service was awesome (they do hire great staff), however, this doesn't ameliorate their policy & quality of the product. Therefore 1-star.

I bought a couch set in July of 22 and before April of 23 the back of the couch had caved in and hangs lower than the rest. Now the other couch is starting to do the same- Very low quality furniture. Only my husband and I live at my home so it’s not like it’s overused. Just spend the extra money and go somewhere else!

Having bad luck with tv cabinet. First attempt to pick up, unit was damaged. Reordered, and tried to pick up again. It was damaged worse than the first. Decided to try a third time. We shall see. The guys at the pick up area are very nice and polite.

An agent from afw came to my house and said your motor is out.we will order you a new one or get you a new chair.month goes by and nothing. I call and they didn't order the motor.then I was told bring the chair and we'll trade.I get there and will not replace. I'm 100%disabled for life and I shouldn't be moving recliners,I had no one to help me so I did it because I have nothing to sit 0n.Now it's been 3 months and no chair.I called again and still didn't order my motor..I've been disrespected before, just not this bad when it's this important.

After our recent house fire we needed to rebuild our lives from square one. We heard positive experiences from loved ones about AFW. So we visited the Colorado Springs showroom. Our showroom experience lived up to those recommendations. Anthony was our sales representative and was incredible. He was helpful, attentive to detail and specs, available for questions but not overbearing. He gave us space and direction and made helpful suggestions. Couldn't have asked for a better in person experience. We purachsed our livining room, bedroom, and kids bedroom furniture in whole. All was set to be delieveres to Northern NM but they only come out once a month. So we waited the 2 weeks. Anthony included details of our home and the location in the snowy canyon of Taos, NM. Come delivery day we experienced the worst customer service imaginable. Schedule delivery window was 1-5pm by 12 we were contacted by the drivers stating that they had already been by and would not be completeimg the delivery as they felt unsafe with the snowpack and bridge on the property. Despite shoveling and salting the driveway areas as instructed we were told that the delivery would be canceled. My husband tried reasoning with them repeatedly as he is an experienced CDL driver and even tried to show them that there was plenty of room 48ft to be exact from the road to park their 40ft box truck without ever even crossing our snowpacked but cleaned and salted bridge which was their primary concern. They still refused and stated they could reattempt the delivery March 10th a month later. We shared our dire situation and need for furniture as we had nothing in our new rental after the home fire, they did not care, told us to call customer service and cancel the order and left. When we called customer service we were greeted by Sochee, this woman laughed, sighed, and was incredibly unprofessional as she navigated through our complaint and concern. When we asked about canceling and getting a refund she said she could but would not refund us for the delivery and set up fee which was just below $500. We asked repeatedly to speak with the delivery manager multiple times whom she kept referencing, she said he refused to talk to us also. There was no delivery, nor setup and so we were beyond unhappy to still be charged that fee. We sent pictures of the straight, cleared, and salted driveway, still nothing. We called customer service back after she hung up on us and got Kathy who was more empathetic to the situation. Kathy offered to get the truck sent back to a location in town proper if we could secure a trailer or truck to get the furniture off of. We did just that based off of our desperation and true need for the items, at this point we regretted ever doing buisness with AFW. Fast forward to the trailer now being fully loaded down. My husband's and I then had to unload every single item and he was handed multiple small bags of hardware and a quick 3 minute explanation that the dressers would be hard to put together and there was no instructions for any of the items because usally they put them together themselvew. He was told to call customer service with any issues he might experience and they could try to walk him through set up on the phone. When we did we were given an $80 refund for out troubles, despite delivery and set up costs being just under $500. If you are not in a dire situation like we were, we highly recommed you take your buisness elsewhere as the customer service from their customer service and delivery team were horrible and still leave us holding our heads wondering how on earth any of this happened.

BUYER BEWARE: Product is garbage. Delivered a defective couch to me. I told them immediately and I was told it would break in and cushions would fill themselves in. Then the delivery people installed them in the wrong direction , They had every excuse under the sun saying it wasn't defective. Months later it got worst and they are telling me there is nothing that can be done cause I live our of state. Unless I want losing hundreds of dollars. They shouldnt be delivering out of state if they won't stand behind their product. $2000 down the toilet. Complete trash!
