The Fort Collins American Furniture Warehouse store has easy access from I-25 and Highway 14. Our huge showroom provides the largest selection and best prices anywhere, anytime. We offer a white glove delivery service seven days a week to all of Northern Colorado. We have a vast selection of mattresses, dining room sets, sofas, loveseats and home office furniture in stock for immediate pick-up. We have a rental truck on site for a small fee. There is currently a bilingual salesperson on staff for our Spanish-speaking customers. I bought a gray colored Ashley couch about 7 months ago and I fight with the cushions every day! Every time you sit or lay down on the cushions they side out from underneath you. This is hazardous if you have physical disabilities. I have talked to them and their rude customer service people. The response I get is" That's what you get when you buy cheap from us"!( $378) Is not cheap when you're on a budget and don't make tons of money. The same couch in the store didn't even do it, they stayed in place.... So pay attention to what you buy because they DON'T back there products and treat customers horrible!!!! Warranty????? What a joke!!!!

The staff treat you like you are lucky to be in their store. The truth is they are lucky you walked in there instead of going to Denver or anywhere else along I-25. Today a person at this store was cruel to me and to my pet. She made a scene and other people/shoppers in the store joined in bullying me just because I didn’t know they CHANGED their policy. I was treated like a criminal and I fully intended on purchasing a very pricey sofa but walked out in tears. They are cruel, arrogant, snobby and truthfully, their furniture is below mid-grade price and quality wise so I don’t understand the in your face aggressive snobbery at all. It breaks my heart that people treat people this way and get away with it. Spare yourself this terrible experience and go anywhere else along I-25. Seriously.

Had a sofa and chair delivered only for the delivery guys to tell us it wouldn’t fit. They didn’t even take the couch out of the truck. When I talked to the manager they refunded me but still charged me the $100 delivery fee. She wouldn’t work with me but said IF I bought something else from them they would maybe discount the next delivery, not wave the delivery fee. I went next door to furniture row and spent $3,100 on a sectional and got much better service. AFW will never get my business again. Terrible customer service.

We have bought several items from American Furniture over the years. Recently we have had a lot of issues with our items holding up. We bought a new dresser and a month later the track busted. When we went to take it fixed the new railing broke in the technician’s hand. We have also had many issues with the frame of our loveseat, which we have had only for a year and half. When we called to share that our couch was also showing issues with the frame, wood falling out of the bottom, the customer service agent said she couldn’t speak for how it was treated and nothing could be done due to policy. It’s a bummer that some of the policies can’t be flexible for long standing customers. I’m not sure that we will purchase anymore items from American Furniture.

Very satisfied with our purchase. We found a three seater we liked but the earliest it would have been available was November. Thanks to Nick’s quick resourcefulness he was able to get us that same set but two seater and one seater. We are more than satisfied with the service, pricing, and delivery. Their ad lives up! The purchase of our new Ashley Furniture was very easy and great from a sales perspective. However, from a pickup, not so much. Having purchased the chairs from the floor on a Friday, we went to pickup on Saturday. I went in with my receipt to the pickup area, showed ID and then the guy says I need to pay for it. I show him on the receipt where it say amount owed $0.00 and all of the transaction information. He then says that I need to get someone up front to solve it or call him. Isn’t this something he should solve, as my receipt says that I am paid in full. Whether a poor internal system or associate issues, this helps me make decisions on where I spend my money. AFW will probably respond and apologize, but if they don’t allow you to call a manager, in the end, they don’t really care.

If your looking for new furniture, I'd highly recommend AFW. We had picked out a new bed frame and unfortunately it was smashed once we got it home and opened the boxes. Our sales rep Nick Pollman did an absolute fantastic job at getting us a new bed frame that night! I cannot recommend Nick at AFW enough! We will definitely be back for future furniture needs.

Nebraska furniture Mart better be aware of this company because I tell you what we lived in Omaha and bought all our furniture from Nebraska furniture Mart however if I knew that this was around I would definitely go there there's sometimes half the price or more of what prices are at the furniture Mart we bought a whole house load of furniture at American furniture wholesale and credit was a snap

Service is good until you buy. Agent sales didn't say anything about the 15% restocking policy they have. So be aware and go the website to read the return policy, BEFORE you buy. They must advertise this in BIG letters in the store, not just the offers, so you know what to expect if you need to return or exchange. Awful customer service experience over the phone. It is fine to have this or any policy JUST let the customer know before the payment, not after when there is nothing to do. Will not do business with them ever again. There are many better places to shop furniture.

NEVER SHOP HERE! We bought a $2,000 dollar patio set and it would go flying with the slightest breeze. I literally had to pick up the chairs from our neighbors yard multiple times. We spoke to the sales rep about it she told us to get patio covers. We did and it still wouldn’t stay down. We spoke to a service guy and he told us to line it up against the house. We did, it still went flying and this time broke the chair and the table. So since it broke we called warranty and they wouldn’t cover it because they don’t cover “nature.” The first lady I spoke too was so rude. She scoffed at me and told me “well I think it’s common sense to bring the patio furniture inside.” Like I’m sorry but WHAT!?! It’s patio furniture in the middle of summer! Who has room in their house to bring a whole patio set inside!! She was a miserable person who told me she would transfer me to someone else and instead sent me right back to the main menu. I called customer service and they won’t do anything for us either. We’ve had this set a little over a month it broke everywhere because of their horrible quality and now they won’t help us at all! We were told if we want to buy a part to fix it we have to pay $50 just to have someone come look and they still might not be able to fix it. We can’t afford a new set either we spent everything we had for a nice set and they won’t do anything. This company should be ashamed of its self. Go anywhere else to buy your furniture because even if you pay a butt load the quality is still horrendous. We will never be shopping here again and I personally hope the company gets shut down. I’m astounded but how horribly this all turned out. I’ve tried being so nice too, I really hate giving bad reviews, but I had to because this has been the worse shopping experience of my life. I can’t wait for the day for this company to go under. WORST COMPANY EVER!! Editing this because it won't let me respond to AFW's response to my review. As I told the AFW team multiple times we didn't have bad weather, we had small winds under 20mph (legally normal weather conditions that patio furniture should be able to stay still for!!!) Not to mention none of our neighbors furniture blew away, just ours because we bought it from a low quality store! Photos are provided below, I didn't respond to the email asking for another photo because the team was so rude and made it very clear they weren't going to do anything for us. Most place don't cover wind that is correct, but most place make quality furniture that doesn't blow away with a slight breeze. This is a manufacturing issue on AFW's end, one we tried to get help on so many times before it broke and they did nothing to help us. A seriously shameful company. We would like to thank Matt Soerens, who is a very knowledgeable and talented Home Furnishings Consultant at the AFW Warehouse in Fort Collins. Matt did an absolutely superb job in helping us to find the furniture we were looking for. Matt, who is a former educator, has exceptional talent and creative skills in identifying and suggesting the many different styles, color schemes, and designs in furnishings available to meet our specific needs. He was able to present his suggestions in a very creative, coherent, and understandable way that we very much appreciated. He also knew where all his suggested furniture selections were located so we didn't have to spend alot of time searching. In addition, Matt has a great sense of humor which made for a very enjoyable experience. I would give Matt much more than five stars if it were available, and I would recommend Matt unequivocally to everyone for a very pleasant and very productive shopping experience.

I ordered a loft bed for direct ship (comes from another warehouse and is shipped directly to my home) and it came in terrible shape. I don't know if this isn't a South Shore issue or a Fed Ex issue, but the packages were broken open, had black tread marks on them and many of the pieces were damaged. I contacted South Shore and they said I needed to reach out to AFW national number. I wasn't hearing back and so I contact our salesperson in Forth Collins directly and I got a call that night to pickup our damaged product and exchange it for a new one. She was so attentive and helpful. I am frustrated our product was such a mess, but impressed with AFW's response. Fingers crossed that the next one comes in better shape.

I have never left a review before, but caution with AFW. We had couches delivered unkowingly with one of them broken. The delivery people even said that the couch didn't look right. After all of their testing and hitting buttons they said it worked fine and must be the way it is. After a week or so it started getting worse which we called in and were told that it should be under warranty and would only need to pay for the delivery people to come pick it back up but to send pictures to be sure. Did that within minutes of the phone call and no one called us. We called again about 2 days later and a lady said she was so sorry that it wasn't taken care of yet and that it definitely would be under warranty and we wouldn't need to pay the restocking fee just the delivery fee. She said someone would be in touch to schedule a pick up. Here we are over 10 days later and we had to call back yet a third time, and now someone else is telling us that we have to pay the restocking fee! We were told we should've called within 48 hours after delivery. As explained the employees of AFW were the ones that delivered the couch and said it was broken, but then changed their tune and said it work fine and it must be the way it is supposed to be. Believing the employees of AFW, we didn't call. It wasn't until a week later we realized it is indeed not how it is supposed to be and the AFW employees who delivered it were wrong. The 3rd lady on the phone telling us we need to pay them to restock it, even made the comment during our conversation that, yeah in the delivery pictures AND the pictures I sent in it looks as though something was wrong with it but that's our option, pay to have it restocked. Ok so you're telling me you gave us a broken couch AND now we have to pay you to take it back! Terrible customer service and terrible business plan. Our sales rep was amazing, but it stops there. Never felt so swindled in my life from a company.

The worst customer service I have had in years! Our family has been dealing with AFW for twenty plus years. We had a delivery scheduled for my son for between 10 and 12:30 on a large order. They called to say they were there and and no one was home. My son told them I could be there in 10 minutes. I got there and they were gone. I called the customer service line. I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes on the phone. Finally got a customer service rep who put me on hold, came back on and promptly cut my connection. I waited 15 minutes for her to call me back before I called the customer service line again. Waited another 15 minutes before they answered. They said that the delivery people were gone for the day. The next delivery would be a week from today, and..... another delivery fee!! Needless to say, we will never do business with them again.

Save your time and money! Our experience here was absolutely horrible and discriminatory! Our first day we came in to buy a couch, we were told for the financing we needed a different ID, we had an ID from turkey. We explained that my gf was from turkey and didn't have an American ID but had her passport on her phone. They said they needed the physical passport. So the next morning we made the drive from estes park again. Got there and handed the sales person the passport and was told, they only take American passports. This is a government issued ID but since they only work with Americans we were denied service! This is absolutely discrimination! They told us this was a wells Fargo decision, which oddly enough just settled several lawsuits! One for scamming it's own customers and another for discrimination against non white borrowers! I find it interesting this place chooses to use a bank that is constantly in the news for being corrupt and discriminatory! As a veteran this place absolutely disgusted me!! Luckily the place next door welcomes people of all nationalities and races! American furniture should be absolutely ashamed of this practice and policy! Seeing my gf excited for her couch (she is here on asylum, and pays taxes same as any other American) only to be told she can't be helped because she's not from here is a disgrace and not what America was built on! But I guess it's in the name American furniture right?

Bought recliners 2 years ago. My wife's recliner frame broke in half last evening. We are retired, normal use, no grandkids etc. No recourse. Past warranty period. Taking to dump and buying higher quality recliner this time from a higher quality store that will stand behind their product. Quite disappointed. 2 star rating is a gift.

Got broken feet on my chaise and my armless chair for the sectional and the best they could do was offer $30 and a voided warranty and had to fight to get the feet for one of them but the other still has a broken foot on it.

Store sales person was great but the delivery people, manager, and customer service people were horrible. They pulled and delivered the wrong mattress, more expensive than the one we purchased and instead of us getting to keep it with a small discount or working with us for the correct mattress, they started harrasing us non stop, even the delivery driver called my personal number and the manager never contacted me regarding the situation. The ladies that call from customer service are horribly rude, God forbid they admit they did wrong. We cancelled the whole order and now they are trying to charge us the delivery fee still, this is pathetic.

There is so much more behind this photo than most would think. My fiancé and I were on a spontaneous mission to find new furniture to fill our new home that my Grandmother owned previously. She recently passed away unexpectedly, so the process had been emotionally draining for me. On January 14th, we popped into AFW Firestone location, just to take a look see. We were welcomed by the lovely staff. All so helpful and fun to work with. Matt was awesome. Meeting Jake was just the icing on the cake. Shaking his hand and chatting with him made my whole day, as my future husband just smiled. We are so happy with our purchases and can't wait to make many more memories here in this home of ours. Most people will never hear the story behind needing or wanting new furniture. Ours will forever be held so close to our hearts. Absolutely terrible! Sold me complete garbage and won't stand behind there product. They delivered me a defective couch with huge gaps and won't resolve the issue or return product. They try an blamed the position of the couch. I e switched the position in every which way possible! This couch is complete trash. They also filter their online website reviews as I e tried to post 3 times a 1 star review. Couch is getting worst over time. Luckily my credit card company gave me a full refund. Run from this place as fast as you can!

I HIGHLY recommend 'Kathy' at the Fort Collins location. I was undergoing the daunting task of moving my parents into an assisted living facility. I was not looking forward to shopping here as I had so much on my plate. I was immediately blown away by Kathy's knowledge; it was obvious she enjoyed her job and had been doing it for some time. She gives the words 'customer service' their true meaning. Kathy was SO helpful and saved me so much time. I never dreamed this particular experience could be so quick and easy. I can't thank her enough; I'm truly grateful. She is a HUGE asset to your company! I would also like to recognize Manuel, who delivered the items with his team. He was so pleasant and kind and perfectly on time. He and his team set everything up quickly and thoroughly. Thank you as well!

Have bought from here a few times. Just came in today and their computer system was down. I get it. But I was there to exchange a defective product I bought. I live 45 minutes away by the way and i made another trip to return the defective product. They basically told me to go away and didn't make any effort to help me. I approached the warehouse guys outside and they actually helped me. They got my exchange done without a computer. So the absolute garbage employees up front should be fired. The warehouse employees are awesome! Also other times I've been there and wanted to buy something, it was out of stock and I had to go to Thornton. They suck.

We do buy a lot of furniture here. They have a great selection and good prices. One MAJOR WARNING BEFORE BUYING: Make sure that you check the size color and everything that you like 100% BEFORE you pay because his commercial says they have low returns but it's not because people are satisfied... it's because they make returns extremely difficult and then there is a 15% restock fee. We purchased bar stools only to find out that they were badly damaged once we got them home. They were wobbly, had a busted leg, and look like someone put their hand through the lining under the chair. When we went to return them, they tried to charge us a restock fee! We said you can't restock this and you shouldn't have sold this like this was anyway. So they finally grudgingly waived the restock fee. So just be aware of that they are super friendly when you're buying, but when it comes to returns, it's a totally different story...they don't take kindly to returns.
