  • This pieces origin was a water color painting. It began with some sponges for tecture over a gradient wash. I was really experimenting with tectures and washes as well as srpay bottles.
  • Next step was to scan and see where the muse took me in Photoshop and soon I got to the space under the sea.
  • Add a few digital elements and adjust the e ects for the nal touches.

Jon Thorpe Biography

Jon Thorpe has a B.A. in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and currently owns and operates a design and graphics studio in Denver, Co. Jon Thorpe has been creating and designing all his life and is well versed in multiple mediums. He enjoys painting and drawing as well as sculpture and other 3D applications of art and design. Jon is also a skilled illustrator and screen printer.
